Overview:

Chappie is a fun desk assistant and companion. It can express many emotions through its head and ear movements, as well as its dynamic eyes. Chappie has a range of sensors to facilitate responsive interactions with humans.

Reflection:

Having never worked with arduino or electronics before, I learned many valuable hard skills throughout this project such as, coding in a new programming language and utilising arduino with electrical components like screens and servos.

The focus on this project for me was primarily ‘technology and realization’, however the aesthics, interaction and marketability of Chappie were also key drivers during the design process.

Overall Im very happy with the final result of this project, as we reached all our goals and produced an elegant professional looking product.
